Mass Shootings, Faith, Prayers & American Culture

Commentary by Mike Church, Contributor | NEWSL.ORG

THOUGHTS & PRAYERS TO CA DEAD ARE FOR LOSERS – That’s not MY Headline that is the sentiment shared by “liberal pundits” all over the Judgement Pornosphere™.

I have talked about this on the show, the disingenuous “sending you my thoughts and prayers…” memes and social media placebos that pass for actual prayers.

The libs writing in the Pornosphere discount that actual prayers actually work, where I plead for the actual prayers and not faux alms that make my “friends” list think I’m a good guy or gal.

What the libs have written is pure apostasy folks and to be expected to increase, this after all is the result of the serpent tightening his grip on ‘Muricah.

Another Mass Shooting, Another Deluge Of Tweeted Prayers

“all these officials can seemingly do is rush to offer their useless thoughts and prayers.”

______

And so they did after news broke about multiple casualties in San Bernardino, California, on Wednesday.

Here is former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) offering some prayers.

And here is former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee with some prayers too.

And, a bit later, Dr. Ben Carson.

Rep. Jerry McNerney (D-Calif.) has only some thoughts, no prayers.

It’s not just politicians, though — many people with Twitter accounts offered thoughts and prayers, too.  Here’s what a Twitter column searching for the terms “thoughts” and “prayers” looked like on Wednesday afternoon. (A lot of the tweets are from people saying that tweeting thoughts and prayers is useless.)
