Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards said the swearing in of the 115th Congress marked “the most dangerous moment” for the organization’s history in a fundraising e-mail sent to supporters.
“A new Congress is being sworn in today — which means we are entering the most dangerous moment in Planned Parenthood’s history,” wrote Richards. “That’s saying a lot, given the immense challenges Planned Parenthood has faced over the last 100 years.”
Pro-life congressmen have said the abortion giant has “every reason to be concerned” about expecting future taxpayer funding. Richards called them “extremist lawmakers” who “are dead set on blocking 2.5 million people a year from accessing care at Planned Parenthood health centers.”
The CEO said without a presidential veto of the Republican’s plans, Planned Parenthood must rely on its supporters to be “ready to fight like hell.”
Later, Richards posted a New Year’s message of sorts on Twitter, encouraging everyone to “start your 2017 off on the right foot” and schedule an abortion appointment today:
Wow! Happy New Year!
Richards would like us all to believe that her “medical centers” are used primarily for women’s health and reproductive care, but performing 40% of America’s abortions, over 300,000 per year, makes them the nation’s premier abortion provider.
Plus, the undercover videos last year that exposed them in the selling of aborted baby parts has ripped the mask off what the organization’s true intent is and it’s not “women’s care.”
That’s what makes this rebuttal to Richards sick New Year’s resolution by Daily Caller blogger Jim Treacher so satisfying:
